The clean environment of Estonia sets an example for the rest of the world, with pristine forests, crystal-clear lakes, and a commitment to sustainability
We're proud of the "Let's Do It" initiative that started as a big clean-up day in Spring 2008 in Estonia, and has since become a global movement! Initiative led to the creation of a unified @worldcleanupday.global.
This year, our international student ambassadors will be joining forces for a cleaner environment. And guess what? You're invited to join us in Tallinn on May 4th for a collective action!
51 welcomes you to the ! Along with the “Teeme ära! 2024” working party we kick off the gardening season!
The Kopli 93 community garden is located in the backyard of the heritage-protected Kopli Cultural House and, together with the Kopli repair workshop, has become a pleasant meeting place for those interested in gardening and self-construction in recent years. For the opening of the gardening season, we invite you to help us build walls, beds and a fire pit from recycled limestone to create more diverse growing conditions and more pleasant leisure areas.
During the day, we will be learning how to build a durable dry wall as well as a limestone terrace with lime mortar. Both community members and those interested in designing and building with local materials are welcome!
Please bring work clothes suitable for the weather, if possible your personal work gloves. We will be offering lunch from 13:00 to 14:00 to keep up our strength and spirits. We also have some work gloves and the necessary equipment.
At 16:00 we will break in the newly built fire pit.
Join forces for a better world!
